Alpine White Detail 3 steps + 2

Whatever wax you settle on, may I strongly recommend you try Meguiars new Ultimate Detail Spray.
The stuff is unbelievable!!
Really easy to apply, but leave it on for 12 hours. It forms a high tension bond and the resultant shine and water beading in the rain is incredible.

I think you are referring to their quick detail spray in the maroon bottle?
The new one (pic below) is a completely different product.

I agree, the Mequiars Clay kit comes with a bottle for lubrication to allow the clay to slide over the paint easily.I applied it after I finished the job and it looks great.

My Ride: Alpine White 530i Mtech
Hey Westcoast550, I have a Alpine White 530 and from my expirences' I would have to say the the easiest and best way that my car has come showroom clean is..
1st- Pressure clean entire car (underneeth, wheel wells ect).
2nd-Wash entire car with soapy water(the more suds the better).
3rd- Spray wheels with Rim Juics, let set in then clean throughly.
4th-Use soapy water with a medium grade clay bar on entire car.
5th- Dry car, use leafe blower for cracks and a microfiber towel.
6th- Apply Auto Gylm on entire car
7th- Get a cold beer and sandwich
8th- Take off Auto Gylm and then apply polish and then done with body
9th- Apply wheel wax then take off
Then you have a showroom shine BMW

Anthony, thanks for your input. The leaf blower is a really good idea to get rid of the dark marks that always form on the sills/side skirts. I like the Cal Jelly Blade for excess body water, I'm looking forward to your black roof, its a cool look. My neighbour just got an Audi wagon with a black roof on red it looks fantastic.
Cheers
