Your BMW "loaner"
#181
Car's in the shop for a number of laundry list items to be checked and was told there's an recall on injectors, so okay. For the loaner, I thought nothing it but turned out am quite impressed with the zoomy 4 cylinder Camry SE and the firmness of suspension and 17's wheel package that strike a resemblence of my Bilstein coilovers!!! I am pretty stoked that my E60 Bilsteins' CO (known for firmness) can hang with one of the most plush-riding family sedan! Well on good to perfect roads, yes, but on crappy roads different story, LOL.

I like nice loaners but I wouldn't go as far as being an asshole to say other cars a piece of junk. I usually don't mind any loaner as long it's comfortable and clean.

Called the usual BMW Dealer for a service appointment and was told that they do not provide loaner during the weekend appointments, (which is odd, since I have gotten them last two times I went there) So, told I can get a loaner if I setup an appointment almost 10 days later... I don't think I want to drive 10 days with a wore out front pads.. Wisely called another BMW dealer, which happen to belong to the same chain and the guy not only promised a loaner, but also got me an appointment during the upcoming weekend.
The new dealership completed front brake pad replacement and oil change on time and experience was excellent. I guess I found myself a new service dealer for my car going forward.
Thanks to Mountain View BMW Service Team~
This is what I get today, a 335D... all I have to say, the torque is down right NICE and getting 35 MPG to and back from San Francisco was a plus too..

It's been quite a while since I had a loaner that was noteworthy! I had a choice between the run of the mill 3 series loaners or a couple of brand new Minis....so ultimately it came down to Mini S or Mini Convertible.....I'm enjoying every minute of this loaner experience!
