Does anybody know a good shop where I can take my newly bent rim? I went over a pothole at about 30mph and I didn't think much of it until the next morning when I felt and heard a bit of a wobble. I have 20" DPE's and I'm trying to find out what kind of warranty they have, also. I've bent a rim before, but it was over a huge pothole on the freeway going over 60mph. This was on an ugly residential road going the speed limit. I figured DPE's were a little stronger than that, and that they were backed. Someone please help because I'm really not looking forward to spending $1200 on another wheel.

Never needed to use them but I have heard good reports about Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara. May be worth a call or visit.

If you are near Walnut Creek I use Rite-Way wheel repair. Owner is Jose Cruz. I took a wheel from my wife's Volvo and they did a great job. Came back looking great, drives perfect and saved me big bucks. I didn't want to have to put a new wheel on. Phone #925-933-4046, limited hours of operation. All the high-end dealers use him in town.

Thanks for all your help guys! I'm going to be calling around to all of the places that were suggested to see what can be done. Someone told me that I should file a claim with CalTrans, but I should probably get the wheel fixed first. Oh, and I also e-mailed DPE about it. I guess the worst case scenario is I'll need to have the barrel replaced for $350.
