My car needs alignment. The dealer said they want $149 and that it will take 3 to 4 hours!
Is $149 a reasonable price for alignment?
the last time I did an alignment of my old Nissan, I payed $59!
Should I get this job done somewhere else?
Thanks!

If I do it with another shop (not the dealer) any recommendation of where to go? I just want to make sure its done right and rims don't get scratched.

That is a good deal. I was quoted $199 from BMW of San Francisco and I paid $250 for an alignment in Feb from BMW of San Diego. I, too, have active steering.
Alignment is not part of the the maintenance.

Whats the big difference anyways with how the alignment is done with active steering? Do i have to go to the dealership? I can't go to say Firestone?
