Hey guys,
I have questions regarding purchasing a new vehicle.
I know that we can negotiate for the price of a vehicle from an invoice price. Some people have said that they get 500 bucks above the invoice.
I saw another category in kbb.com. It is "New Car Blue Book Value, What consumers are really paying for this vehicle".. I don't know what this means.
Does this mean that it is the lowest price that dealers usually gave us?
Thank you...
Yoko.

The KBB and Edmunds websites give you the dealer invoice of the car plus the options. What's often not disclosed are the regional advertising and training fees that get added on top on those figures. Most dealers are accustomed to this and will willingly provide a copy of the invoice at some point in the negotiation process. Still, you should be fully prepared with your own numbers to make sure that everything else lines up.
Since dealers know that customers have access to this information, they usually try to get extra profit in leasing, financing and dealer accessories.

I already negotiate with the sales just now. I was able to get the price to 500 above Invoice price.
Is that a good deal?
