I haven't heard anything from bmw regarding this. when i called my dealership they said it would happen and that they're just working out the wrinkles before they have letters sent out. but it's been such a long time and i haven't heard anything about it. i defiantly have this problem, as the airbag disables even when a full size adult is sitting in the seat.

so i called bmw and apparently my production date doesn't fit under their recall. so now they're saying i can get it repaired under cpo warranty and pay the $50 deductable. so lame, i love how i have the exact same problem as a recall, but because a certain percentage of vehicles in my product month don't meet the criteria for a recall, i'm not going to get any exceptions.

I called BMW a while back and they said I do fall into that category and now they say that I do not. Its pathetic.
