Someone dinged my E60 at a parking lot. There is a noticeable dent and the paint is scratched. Can anyone recommend a good body shop in the SF Bay area?

You can try calling dent pro or dent wizzard. I tried then once before and did a good job on my 740i.

I've used Dent Pro before on my wife's MDX and they did a great job. However, not sure if they can do anything about the scratched paint so I think you will probably need to take it to an actual body shop. I've used Springer Collision Centers in San Jose off Brokaw near the 101 in the past and they did really good work (http://springercollision.com/).

BTW, since you're all from around here, I've added you guys to our NorCal Members thread: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry840050

Also, I'm organizing a BBQ/Picnic on Sat May 23rd at Vasona Park in Los Gatos if anyone's interested: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...t=0&start=0

Did DentPro just pull out the dent, or did they repaint the door for you? How much did they charge?

Tony? I met you at Sonic a couple weeks ago. I was the guy with the black 545i getting my fenders rolled.

Oh yeah, the one with the 545 and DPE wheels right? Shoot, you have to excuse me but I forgot your name. There was another person there that also had an E60, silver one, and I talked to him about this forum also.

I was recommended German Auto by a co-worker. I took my 545 there and was very happy with them. The garbage truck got a little friendly with my rear quarter panel. The car was only 2 days old for me . I also had them touch up some dings and other minor things. Very good work, fast, friendly and stuck to the quote.

I think that was or is the same place that SonicMS uses to paint all the body kits for their customers.

Check out B-Line in San Jose. That's the body shop that does all the work for Stevens Creek BMW. I was referred there by SCBMW when someone hit my 545. B-Line did an outstanding job and as I understand it, most of their work is with BMW and their work is to factory standard.
