My warranty is expiring at the end of December. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do? I'm going to schedule an appointment for an oil change and a micro-filter replacement. I'm also going to ask for new wiper blades. Should I get a car inspection? This is my last chance to get "free" service, so I would like to take advantage of the warranty while I can.

I would try to get anything that is at all bothering you replaced, and see if you can get the brakes replaced (if your close to that service)
Maybe ask for a coolant and brake fluid flush.

It would help if you post the mileage of your car

I agree, get everything done that you can. Check the thread I just started. Obviously service adviser can pull records and see what service you have due soon.

Other than existing problems, the best you can hope for is to ask them to perform a visual for obvious problems such as belts, hoses, suspension components, brakes, etc.

You can purchase an Extended Maintenance Contract that will give you the free service (pads, rotors, Inspections, fluid changes etc) that will extend your maintenance for another two years. I paid around $1700 after calling several dealers and negotiating. Given the cost of pads, rotors and the inspections this pays out. Basically you are paying for future maintenance at a discount.

Mine also expiring soon. Anybodys thouhts on the AUL extended warranty? Is it worth it? How much is it for 6 years for a 530i with 43k miles on it.

And yeah, I think I'm also going to the dealer for a checkup.
