You mean an 04 lasted that long? I'd look at the brakes and get new pads, particularly the rears. Basically, they have it gamed that you can't do much. Wipers, a free wash and a pesky salesperson are in your future.

i suggest in thse next few days you listen to unsual nosies, ratles and squeks... check your window seals for ratles and wind noise,...
check any trim out of place or damage..
palstic for the window controls on the driver side (or any side) sometimes gets scratched, from fingers and rubber gets lose from the plastic also the plastics srounding the gear knob, and around the volume controls...
check the basic things also such as the steering (rack), and brakes (systems)...
one more thing if ur comfortable with your i-drive ok...but if not now is the time to get an update...dont wait too long for this as u dont know what new bugs might show up...

I took in today and just complained about road noise and dash creaking in hopes they will replace my window and or door seals. I do have extended maintenance so i can get brake pads, rotors, wipers etc replaced. Should i take the car to a NON dealership BMW mechanic and pay him to have a look over it?

When did you purchase your extended maintenance and is it from BMW?

My Ride: 2004 530i Sports Pkg Titanium Silver on Black SMG HUD
Default

My car (04 530) is 12,000 km out of warrenty, the HUD has fallen off it's mounting and sits crooked now (tilted down to the left) brakes need to be done, just put on T1-R's, DRL passenger side high beam flasher burnt out and had to replace both bulbs, clutch on the SMG is starting to slip now as well, creak in the dash when going over uneven pavement, sunroof tilt is noisey, sunroof seals need to be replaced. Other then that car is good for having 92,424km
