Maximum25, I ordered it through a US Military Car Sales in Germany. Should be available to order in the States now also, since we can't order anything until it is released for US. Obviously, shipping to the states will take a little longer, but they say production will begin in March 05. I had to order the xdrive as an option to a standard 2005 530i. Good luck, Falcon

I am missing something, are we saying we are going to have awd for the E60 starting next year? Oh boy my lease is due on Nov. 2005. Hope they have them by then.

When I spoke to my UK dealer about this he told me not to hold any hopes of it coming to all BMW markets

Tyres isn't the big issue. The car is heavy and doesn't have enough space underneath, so when you drive in the sand the car gets stuck because it just sinks too much into the sand. I don't think the xi will be any better...
Anybody want to try at the next meet there in Belgium?
