Hey all -

I got a call today from my salesman informing me that my car had made it onto a recent ship and was due into the NJ port on November 4th. Does anyone else here have a car on that ship? If so, do you know the name of the ship?

Much thanks,

Mike

Evenin' Wulff1 -

I ordered a Silver/Auburn 550 with Sport and Cold Weather packages, nav, split rear seats, and a couple other minor items.

How about you?

Finally got my VIN -

my car is on the Vessel: FREEDOM Port of origin : BREMERHAVEN

Voyage : EB530-FRE Port of Destination : NEW YORK, NY

It was loaded on the boat Oct 24 - is this the same vessel going to Jersey?

counting the days...they now tell me that it only takes 1 day for the M-aero kit to be installed...

My 550 arrives tommorow, I am also having the M aero kit done at VPC. My dealer talked to VPC to find out how long before I get my car. They said I will have it NOV. 7 or 8. That means they need the car for about 1 week at VPC with m aero kit install. Not 1 day. Sorry, I have done alot of research into this, and it is quite normal time frame.

my dealer told me that there would be a delay if you ordered the aero kit late and they didn't have time to prime and paint the pieces -

otherwise BMWNA told us that it takes one day -

anybody who now has a M-aero e60 have any similar experiences?

mr. 550?

This is a new one..most guys name their car with 'girly names!' you named yours with a very macho name. -- hence mr. 550.

Just kidding..who am i to judge your taste. You are about to drive a 550 and i am about to drive a second 525.
