Haha, I remember checking everyday for my e60..congrats...just hope there's not a long line at the shipping yard to get on a vessel. The "en route" part seems to be the longest part of the delivery...congrats again...
remember it will be on an NYK vessel..not on a Wallenius Wilhelmsen vessel...

Havent had a blue car in years. Tired of grey, Silver , and black which Ive had in succession on previous BMW's and Audis over last 10 years.
Think I am going to add a deck lid spoiler for a finishing touch. What is best source for one of these?
Best guess is she will hit Port Hueneme around June 10, make it to San Diego a few days later.

Congrats!!! We are in the same boat -so to speak. I ordered mine on 5 May- it went into production on 8 May- got VIN on 9 May - went into body shop today- will roll off on Friday. My question is how does one check on when it is put on a boat and the progress thereafter? Is there a cargo or shipping internet site to check on that? Thanks.

First. once your car gets shipped your CA will be able to cut and paste your bill of lading that will give you all the specifics you need, including ship name, call sign of ship, shipping line, anticipated ship time, and est date of arrival at your port. Last time this info was spot on.
If it goes NYK lines, as I recall from my 545i order, their website is not outsider friendly. There is another ship locater website that you can look at, but I dont recall what it was. Glad you asked, cause it was pretty cool last time to see my ship, Sagittarius Leader, going thru the Panama canal.
Anyone know what site that is??

Just got word that the NYK Line RoRo Phoenix Leader set sail 5/18 with my car aboard.
Estimated trip duration 23 days until arrival at Port Hueneme.
That should put arrival on 6/10, a couple days at VPC, then on to San Diego.
My wager is delivery on saturday June 14.

I tracked the boat everyday back in March. It was quite painful after the 3rd week. The time will come soon enough. I passed the time by thinking of and purchasing all of the mods.
