This could be dangerous BMS FS approved me for a loaded 545 @ MSRP (36/mo 12k miles lease), so now its up to me to pull the trigger.

I am so psyched.. Here is what I am looking at:
545i Orient Blue/Auburn Leather
Automatic
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Navigation
Sirius Satellite
Premium Sound
Rear Folding Seats
20-way comfort seats

Right now my deal is this:
~1600 inception (tax, titles, fees, no sec. deposit required)
0.00115 Money Factor ( they raise it .00015 if you want no sec deposit down )
payments 749.11/month (tax included)

any thoughts on this deal? I don't have the exact cap cost yet because this was from one dealer beating another and I added options, etc, but I imagine it is well off MSRP.

What are you putting down again? Other than that it sounds like a dope deal. They offered my around the same for a 530. Does your 545 come with sport package?

no sport package, only what is listed there... for me the luxury / smooth characteristics are more important to me

0 down ( no CAP COST REDUCTION )... there are of course inception fees

here are the updated #'s, right from the dealers computer screen:

PRICE: 60,004
ACQ FEE: 625
BANK FEE: 625
MSRP: 63115

RESIDUAL: .61
Money factor: 0.00115

12k miles, 36 months
INITIAL PAYMENT: 1744.72
NET CAP COST ( PRICE + TAX ) : 61331.73
ADJ RESIDUAL: 38500.15

Monthly payment: 749.02 (incl tax)

I think thats a pretty good deal.. its $2344.00 over invoice.

I sent both dealers an offer to buy at $1200 over invoice. One dealer stood firm, the other is "open" to discussion on the price but didn't come back with a solid response. It is the end of the month, so I will let them sweat it out. I have credit approved so the ball is in my court on this. I'll keep everyone updated!

BTW - I am using the Modified Rizzo Method via Email/Internet. Keeps me off the phone (no emotion) and I can send them email offers faster than with a fax machine... Plus by dealing with their INTERNET SALES department, I find I get the smartest salespeople that are used to dealing with sophisticated customers. This truly gives me as the buyer HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE.

getting a good deal is important but imo, finding a good dealer is more important. also one thing you have to think about is service. you may get your car from a dealer which is a bit far from your home and later on want to get service from a dealer which is a block away. they still have to service your car but they might not get you a loaner since you didn't get your car from them. so i'd rather pay a little bit more for a dealer who is willing to help and knows what they are doing. sales is the top priority for a lot of the dealers out there. they always forgot about customer service.

ACQ and BANK fees? Both?

$625 is the non-marked up acquisition fee for a BMWFS lease. I believe the dealers are allowed to mark it up $200. There shouldn't be both. Getting the money factor at the base rate (0.001) is good too.

Now if you were a BMW Car Club of America member for a year you could get $1000 back as a membership reward! Yummy, just sent in my check request.

Right, to be clear the deal closed at 736/mo. Don't have the adj. cap cost number yet, but I negotiated down from the 60,004 cap cost number @ 749/mo to 736/mo.

Inception Fee breakdown ( i made a mistake before)
$625 BMWFS Acq fee
$149 docs
$157.50 title
-----------------
$931.50 total inception fees
+ $736.00 initial payment
------------------
$1667.50 due

They wouldn't move on the 0.00115 MF because I opted not to put a security deposit down. I know over three years I'll pay an extra $400 or so, but having a low initial layout was more important to me.
