Congratulations!!!!

Add my congrats here as well.

Don Juan: It appears from your signature that u simply moved over the wheel/tire/spacer combo and V1 from one BMW to the other, is that correct? If so, were there any unique issues such as restoring old car to OEM condition or different specs, or connection points that caused problems in new car?

Sorry if u took us through this and I missed it. :ermm:

To lock it you have to actually touch the car door or handle area for a second? Are you sure that you can't just walk away from the car and it lock itself?

Also, when it locks as your touching the handle or whatever, does it give an audible beep like it does when you lock it with the remote?

Thanks for the info.

This is all configurable.

You can have it set up to lock after a certain period of time after you walk away, and/or lock by touching the keyhole, and you can turn on and off audible and visual indicators for locking and unlocking.

curious about the anthracite headliner. I have the anthracite trim w/ Black and ti Silver as well.

Does the trim include the headliner?

Thanks

Thanks das. I hope your weekend is not too long as you wait for your car.

The anthracite headlier was, when I ordered the car, a no cost option, and had to be ordered separately from the anthracite trim (otherwise you would get a gray headliner with your anthracite trim). When the car arrived and I looked at the sticker and invoice, there was a $500 cost for the anthracite headliner. This was a big surprise as the previous print out from the dealer had n/c (no cost) next to it. I worked it out with the dealer (we split it, so it ended up costing me $250.) It looks great.

Would love to see an interior pic, cause I too ordered it that way. (the separate option)
PS>> I too was told it was n/c will wait and see what happens when I take delivery of the car later this month. :o

Very interesting about the headliner cost...guess I'm in the same boat too...literally!! Although, I guess its not going to be a deal breaker, its a lot of money for a headliner.

I will take some pics tomorrow and post them. I love the headliner. After owning 3 different E39's ( 2 wagons and one 540 sedan) all with black leather and light grey headliner, it's a major improvement. Looks really masculine and clean. Let me know how your dealers deal with the "surprise" $500 cost of this.

Can you tell me what the order code for the anthracite headliner is? My dealer can not find it as an option.

Thanks!
