Hey guys! My lease is going to be up in about 8 months. I have Dunlop RFT's (I got them free thanks to input from this site) and have about 20K miles on them. The ride quality is horrible and they are making quite a bit of noise by now. I think I need new tires however not too crazy about spending $1400 on tires for a car that I am returning in a few months. My questions are as follows:
1) Can I replace RFT for conventional tires and not be penalized by BMW at end of lease (I will likely not get another BMW)
2) How many miles is AVERAGE for Dunlop RFT's?

Thanks

No. You need to return the car with RFT.

Why not get another free set? As long as the tires have less than 20K on them, if they're making a roaring noise, you should be eligible for another free set...

If the thread now is still good enough for a return get some non runflats and enjoy the car and then reinstall the runflats onto the car before you return.

i am returning 04 545 in 5 weeks and was told by a dealer that i can return my car with non-RF tires as long as the tread/wear is acceptable
but then again-what is your location/country,if you are in Peru-i think you have to return it with RF
