Wondering if anyone has any experience with BMW tire and road hazard insurance? Two of my wheels were damaged on a pot hole the other day and the tread on my tires is pretty low, will the insurance use that against me?

No... Pump up the tire... The OG poster said wheel damage but didn't say the tires don't hold air. If the tires are popped then who cares they can't prove the tires were low.

Oh, I thought the OG (Original Gangster) poster said, "...the tread on my tires is pretty low,..." not the psi. My bad.

I have Safe-Guard Wheel & Tire Insurance and quite frankly, they suck. They do not cover bubbles in the tire, bent rims even if they are deemed unsafe or much else besides catastrophic blow outs. They also like to send out adjusters to look at the problem before agreeing to pay for it. That means there have been times when my car has been in the shop for several days with a destroyed tire waiting for them to determine whether it should be covered. I would HIGHLY recommend against using them.

They offered me this insurance a year and a half ago, when I bought my E60. I declined and I am happy to report that I have not needed this "insurance" since then. I elected to put my money in an interest bearing account and I am ready to bet that the money will still be there when the contract would have expired.
