IMO, the 528i is an underpowered car compared to it's competition.

BMW is better in terms of suspension/handling - even w/o the Sport Package.

The rest is subjective.

In my humble opinions, nothing beats the driving experience you get when you drive a BMW, except for Porsche and some of the exotics.

I think you should test drive both cars and see what YOU think.

If you are playing with a budget big enough for an E350, why aren't you looking at a 535 instead of a 528?

The 535, unlike the 528, is not underpowered. The 535 is fast. One drive of it and, if you are a driver who values performance first, thoughts of the E350 will evaporate.

Congrats. Post some pics of your 528. What mods do you want to get?

The conventional comparison between a Mercedes Benz E350 is the 530i! The 530i still beats the Mercedes Benz in performance. I've actually got a hardcopy review in a magazine between the two... lol
