Suspension covered under warranty?

My Ride: 2009 Alpine White BMW 535i xDrive
Living in NYC and trying to avoid every pothole on the street is impossible. As I am driving during this blustery winter in the north east, I am starting to hear some sort of noise from the shocks when I hit a bump and it dont sound like it is due to the cold?
Wondering if shocks are covered under the basic 4 year warranty?
