Spectrum Collision or EuroRev's body shop to paint/install my MTEC
#1
Hi There,
I'm just curious if anyone got their Mtech sport kits installed and painted at either of these body shops. I was quoted $1500 for paint and labor at Spectrum Collision (BMW Certified Body Shop) in Lake Forest CA, and $1100 at EuroRev's bodyshop, who according Tim from EuroRev, does body work for a local dealership by the name of Southbay BMW. I've heard many great things about Spectrum Collision on these forums, and I was also recommended by a fellow E60 forum member to EuroRev...The difference is $400 and I know a lot of people are ballers here and don't care about money, but if I can get the same work and paint match at EuroRev, maybe it's not worth the money at Spectrum. What do you guys think??
BTW, I tried calling Crevier BMW for a 1300 mtech deal and they quoted me $1545 which according to Chris is the lowest possible price he can give...I mentioned that I was on Bimmerfest which per members here, said that I can get it for $1300....Chris said it was full of BS and was firm on his 1545 quote.
I am going to order the Mtech kit from EuroRev, and would greatly appreciate any feedback from fellow members on which body shop I should take it to. I am extremely picky about my paint matching and Spectrum said that they will do it 100%. EuroRev however, said that they can get real close, but never match perfectly....
Thanks!!!!

Good to see you made it over.
For those reading this, do not patronize Crevier BMW any more for parts. Their wholesale parts department has gone downhill ever since Vaheh left a few months back.
Besides, we have plenty of other vendors we can go to.
