The first service during my ownership is due. Car is an E61 2004 525d Msport and has done 38,000 miles.
Are there any freebies I should be asking for such as software updates, worthwile checks etc?

It's covered by the 5 year service pack.

just a small tip: there is a USB stick in the form of the key and it comes in various sizes.

otherwise I didn't find much 'loose' stuff to get other than a phone holder for in the carkit for my type of phone.

Perhaps there is some stuff for in the boot to organise your whatever it is you keep in there.

 

Get them to give you a loan car with a V10 engine !!
