My Ride: 2008 Alpine White 550i Sport, Cream Beige Interior, 6-Sp Manual - retired 9/2011

I had a feeling the residuals would drop, but holy crap! And interest went up! The 550i went from a 2-yr 65% to 61% residual....M3 from 60% to 54%, 335i sedan from 66% to 61%....just as an idea. Full figures are attached. It looks like BMW is trying to say, "Don't bother leasing."

Luckily, I locked in August's rates on the 550i I am deciding on, so now I might have to jump on it and be happy I got what I did....payment would have increased $170/month if I hadn't!!!

Are those for 15K? If so, do you add 3% for 10K and 2% for 12K?

Those are for 15K miles....even adding 2 or 3% doesn't help matters at all.

It appears that the 36-month lease residuals are mainly unchanged for most of the cars....just the 24 and 30-month residuals got rocked (1-series remains similar).

However, in my case, the 550i interest rates also went up by 1% this month.....so even on a 36-month lease, it's not looking too good. And if I can't commit to 3 months, how am I going to manage 3 years?
