Anyone have any recommendations for a service department in Denver? I recently picked up an '05 545i, still under factory warranty, and was wondering if anyone has anything good or bad to say about either Murray Motors or Ralph Schomp service departments.

Thanks in advance!

David Choate at Murray is great. Took care of a bunch of warranty stuff for me on my 00 323iT when I had it. They always had a loaner car for me and always called me when another issue came up and let me know up front if it needed to be done or if could wait until a later time.

Bought both of my cars at Schomp though....Murray is just a couple miles from my house so it is easier for service and parts.

I prefer Ralf Schomp over Murray because they have nicer loaners and its much better service as well. They also don't charge a daily loaner fee all you have to do is return the car with a full tank. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I had my car in at Murray on Monday, and overall was very pleased. They took care of the issues I requested, and verified everything else was up to date (since I just bought it, I wanted to make sure there were no open technical bulletins). The service manager also took the time to go for a test drive with me to make sure they understood the vibration that I wanted them to look at - a nice change from my previous service department experiences on another brand. The loaner they gave me was fine - a 535ix wagon, and they're a little closer to me than Schomp's new facility.

We'll see how their service continues in the future - it's good to know that I have another good option if needed.
