Thanks everyone for the support and kind words. I had to work this morning and went to watch my daughter dance in PNB's Nutcracker this afternoon, so haven't done a lot of driving. A couple of quick impressions: One, this is a very different experience from the M3. There is so much luxury and the ride, though firm, is so smooth and comfortable. I like the sports seats more than I thought I would; certainly better than the seats in my M3. I don't feel the same communication via the steering as the M3, but then that car was like riding on rails. There are so many features that I am a little baffled. I'm reading the manual this evening and will figure this stuff out eventually. If I can't my daughter's certainly can.

A few things I already know I love about this car. Torque, torque, torque! I have never had this much, and so far I've been pretty gentle due to breakin ssues. And I love the comfort access. I get so sick of pulling keys out of my pocket which already has a cell phone in it. And I always have coffee and something else in my hands. I just love this feature. And the heated steering wheel isn't bad either.

My wife likes the car. I'm hoping to get her to drive it on occasion. She never would drive the M3. She says its not as smooth as her Lexus (thank God!), but she is impressed. I'm lucky to have such a supported wife. I was feeling a little guilty this morning about all of the money spent yesterday, but she said you know you work hard and deserve some fun!

Another of my hobbies (addictions) is detailing. I can't wait to wash, clay, polish, and apply a sealant to this car. I'm thinking about Klasse AIO followed by Klasse Sealant Glaze (about 3 coats), and then Pinnacle Souveran wax. I am just overjoyed not to be caring for a black car anymore. I love black, but sans a garage it is just about impossible to keep pristine.

Ok, I give up - what color is TiAg?

PS - Congrats. I also thought I would get the three and ended up ordering the 550 and still have guilt pains about it. I'm hoping once I get the car the thought of dropping $70K on a car goes down easier.
