Thumbs up

I unfortunately have to sell my 2005 545i and was hoping to get a little help from everyone on what I could expect to get for it. The dealer or othewise known as "stealer" has offered me $14,500 for it. It is Black Sapphire with Tan interior and has just about every option except navigation. I consider it to be in mint condition except for needing new michelin PS/2 rears. I even added the M5 kit for the front, rear and side skirts. It also has the MP3 adapter as well. I flat out love this car however it has 91,300 on the clock and don't want to keep it past the warranty plus the car payment is killing me. From a warranty perspective it is certified to 100K and also has the extended maintenance to 100K as well.
Kelly Blue Book which the dealers don't go by lists the trade in value as follows;
Excellent Condition--$17,300
Good Condition---$16,150
Fair--14,100

Private Retail is as follows;
Excellent--$20,475
Good--$19,425
Fair--$17,675

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

you have to keep in mind the dealer is in it to make money. they are never ever ever going to give you any where near KBB price since they have to take the car in, inspect it, fix problems, and then CPO it.

you should try listing it on auto trader or do a little research and check auto trader for similar cars w/ similar mileage. times are tough right now, selling a car is going to be hard especially if you're trying to get into the excellent/good condition pricing.
