Hi ,

I am new to this forum and I would really appreciate your help.

I am planning to buy a 2005 or 2006 525I. I think since the 2006s are out , the 2005 might be cheaper.

I need the steptronic transmission and the premium package in the car.

If anyone has bought a similar car can you please post the price you paid? I would really appreciate your kind help.

Please do let me know the MSRP and the price that you paid.

Thanks so much.

I got a good deal on my 2006 530i - 2.8% over dealer wholesale. Just use Autobytel.com. If you think you should be getting a better deal on the 2005 due to the improvements to the '06, I should think you'd want to do much better than the deal I got.

05 525'S are EXTREMELY hard to find..not many left over.
and from my experience, the only benefit is their lower lease rates (05's are about $100/mo cheaper)
if youre planning on buying , instead of leasing, the prices for 05's and '06 are comparable, so its better to get an 06

Really? I would have thought there would have been a bigger price difference. Besides, you want that R6 engine anyways
