called a dealer? no no no. u dont want to waste your time with the normal salespeople that prey on the lemings that just walk into the dealership on a saturday afternoon.
send an email to their internet sales guys. i find they give the best prices with very little haggling.
some dealers i can recommend...bmw manhattan (from the likes of you having to pay tax up front on a lease...it sounds like you were quoted by them), but their internet guys are pretty good. difeo and rallye both have really good prices and dont try to rip you off on the lease rates.

so get on carsdirect, autobytel, edmunds and get your new car and post pics when u do!!!!

FYI, he's marking up the MF on you.

i dont know what options that car has, so i cant tell you if thats a good price or not. i would say though that 2K over invoice (however you car is configured), for a 545 is a good deal...not spectacular, but good.

what does that $4973 include?

did you check out JMK? the deal LITTLE was quoted seems very good...especially since its $2K lower than your 4973

your MSRP with those option is 64,220
invoice is 58,695
so youre trying to shoot for 60,700 (invoice+2000)

on your 36/12K lease the residual is 59% (=37,890)
the MF is .001 (thats the BMWFS base rate, wide world is marking it up .0001 which is about 10 bucks a month extra)

that gives me a monthly payment of around $740

your total taxes are around $2300, that leaves $2400 for other fees...i know theres a $900 acquisition fee, 1st mo pmt, 700 security deposit, 175 for title, and...get this...a 12.50 tire tax. so that all adds up more or less.

get him to knock off $1000 off his quote and youre there.

good luck
