Okay..i could not ask the question on the subject. Let me try now.

When you order a car and the car arrives at the dealer, will the dealer let others to test drive your car?

Assuming that a potentional customer walks in and he/she wants the same car as the one (i, your..etc) ordered...will the sale person let the potential customer test drives your car? or seat inside your car and play with the controllers etc?

That thinking always bother my imagination.

TIA

My car is awaiting for transport !

When I have shopped the dealers have always indicated that if a particular car was for another person they would me allow to look, but not touch.

Yes, if a car belongs to (or is slated for) a customer, the dealer will definitely not let anyone else test drive it. Most dealers also don't let people get into or even touch a customer vehicle.

I'd suggest telling your dealer you don't want anybody (other than the tech for PDI) near your car--I imagine they would honor your request. And if you don't want holes in your bumper for the front license plate, let them know as well.

I've lived in CA for 15 years and haven't had a front plate on any car. Have received 2 fix it tickets ($10 fine if you fix the infraction). Got one a few months ago--used double sided tape to attach plate/bracket, had cop sign ticket, and removed plate when I got home.
