My Ride: 2005 545i, Orient Blue, Black Interior, Sport Package, Satellite
I picked up my 545 from the dealer on Tuesday morning. It was actually an enjoyable experience at the dealership-- even the finance mgr was pleasant to work with. The car is absolutely fantastic. The handling is super crisp and balanced and you feel completely connected to the road. The combination of the active roll stabalization, the active steering and the performance wheels/tires works very well. The engine is amazing. I've never had a car that was this powerful and refined. After two months of waiting I thought that delivery would anti-climatic, but I am so impressed with this car- its an even better experience than I expected.
Last night we took it up to a concert in the Saratoga Hills at Mountain Winery and I snapped one photo-- not the best-- and I'll post more when I get a chance.
Many thanks to e60.net for providing this forum and to all the users that helped me select my car and options. Your input was extremely valuable.

I know! They pulled in after we started our tailgate- luckily no damage this time! Gotta love the parking sensors though-- its good that they come on automatically, that's likely to save some bumper scratches.
