Congrats, my ED is May 8th. If you are in the Gurnee area come by so I can see it.
My production date has been pushed back to 4/24 or week 17.

Hi there,
First off, hang in there.
Not sure if I'll be in Gurnee anytime soon. But, we Chicagoland E60ers should hookup sometime for a meet. Mid-Summer would be good. I'd love to see your M Blue and M Aero package. I'm sure my 550 can beat up your 550!!! And you think the opposite
The 550 is outrageously good and should make everyone smile for years. Overkill can be a good thing. And of course, I can't wait to do ED again.
Spent two hours tonight just sitting in the damn car. Someone please wake me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regards,
CVT Benhogan

A Chicago-area meet would be great this summer.

Hi all,
Picked up my ride tonight and without a doubt its one fine automobile. The long wait was well worth it.
Took the car over my favorite route with loads of twisties. The car just handled great and is so nimble. It really feels agile and light for a car with a big V8. The sport package makes this car so much fun and the steering is telepathic as advertised. Eerie really, like on rails. In fact, I hit a few fast turns and the E60 fell into a nice four wheel drift. Albeit the roads were a tad damp. I can't remember ever doing this with my other cars. RWD is king. I guess it reminds me of blasting around in go karts as a kid. Hope I can sleep tonight.
It was dark so I'll post some daylight pics very soon. Its great to be a full fledged E60er. Finally!!!!!

PS I'll be burning some more gas tomorrow. Used a quarter tank just coming home from the dealer.
