Patriot is docked at Bremerhaven...
#21
Well, it's on the Patriot according to the WW website... after a tour of Belgium and the UK it'll by in the US on 7/1. Timing looks perfect for me, I'm away for the 4th of July but perhaps it'll be at my dealer by Monday, 7/9?

Damn, when did they start offering those options? I thought I got all of them...
Rudy,
That is one well speced car, did you just say "tick everything"!
I noticed you didn't get the 'automatic shoe buffing operation' as well? It is listed in the back of the brochure as an ASBO. A rotating brush folds down above the pedal box and gives you a shine whilst cruising along. For safety reasons I believe it only activates when the cruise control is on...
I share your sense of anticpation, having no delivery date for my 5er (and first BMW) yet. Other than knowing that the order went in two weeks ago, the lease company are very difficult to pin down to a date. I anticpate the end of July or early August, but then it may be held back to September for the new number plate registration we have in the UK.
Looking forward to seeing some pics when you get it!

Just got a confirmation that my car did, in fact make it on the Emden and not the Patriot so all that crap I posted above is meaningless now...
Oh well, the good news is that the Emden arrives sooner so I can't complain one bit!

- glad it worked out well for you.
So can we expect to see satelite pictures of the Emden travelling across the pond or has freely accessible technology not quite made it that far yet?! I was amazed how closely you can track the delivery of your car to the States - much more interesting than waiting for your dealer to call you!

Take a look at my signature for the model and specs...
If it gets on the Patriot (which happens to be the ship my current E60 came over on) it should arrive in Charleston on 7/7 which would put it at the dealership around mid-July, I guess.
