Is it wise to buy a car (BMW in this case) from an out of town dealership?
It's extremely hard to get a good deal on the '06 E60 here in LA and i've heard a couple people getting $1,500 over invoice from a dealership in SF. Luckily my brother lives there so i was thinking of ordering one from Sf instead.

Does this sound like a good idea?

thanks

Where are you shopping in LA?....I ended up get a brand new 545i (that I ordered) for $1800 above cost and when the money factor dropped from .00125 to .00100, my sales rep at Crevier (OC) passed along the savings to me.

I bough my 545I SMG from an out-of-town dealership due to the cost also. The transaction was flawless and everything they said was given to me with no hassel. The paperwork took less than 15 minutes and I was back on the road. I highly recomend it, especially if you are looking for specific car which is hard to get.
