Dealer can give the best info but you will likely become a pest, calling way too much to get updates! I know from experience, most of us have been thru this...
The FAQ section has all the production codes which your dealer should be able to give you. It also has the 1-800 number for calling BMW and the method for tracking the ship. Good luck!
