Living in the Southern United States, ventilated seats would be pretty handy, I'd think. Getting in your car and driving around when it's 97 degrees with 70% humidity is sometimes not all that much fun.

My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!
Well, I just ordered a 550 with Sport, Premium Sound, HUD/NAV, Step, Cold Weather, Sat, Active Steering, Rear Side Airbags, Rear Seat Heating.........I don't think there is a premium package anymore, as those items are standard on the 550......can someone verify this for me? Am I wrong? I don't see a premium package offered for the 550........

I know a guy with ventilated seats in his IS350. THey work great. However I have heard that the BMW's version of ventilated seats do not work that great (not sure about this). Still, I think its a worthwhile option to get!

I don't think there ever was a premium package in the US for the 550i/545i. There wasn't when I bought my 545i in '05.
