Got a quotation today for OIL SERVICE from my SA at $228 + tax ( UNREAL!!!!! ), any reliable location you might recommend in Orange County for OIL Service + I also would like to change the BREAK PADS. Not a very good hands on guy but if necessary will go that route (where can I buy the necessary proper OIL and FILTER)?

In addition I will be adding the IPOD MOST installation by removing my CD Changer but am afraid will need reprogramming for MP3 code and I assume only place I can get this done is at the dealer!

I own a E60 '04 530I, at only 35K miles.

Thanks for the recommendations.

You don't have the free maintenance?

I had mine done few days ago...

I got the oil/filter from the dealer, took it to LMC and had them change it.

an oil change can be done pretty much anywhere IMO. OR if you want a good mechanic, try calling the DR. in Fountain Valley. They only work on Bimmer's, MBZ's, and Volvo's. I used him before for my Volvo years ago, but i've never used him for my BMW...

10900 Kalama River Ave.
Fountain Valley, CA 92708
(714) 963-3700

fyi. I called just to see how much and they said $90.00 for an oil change using synthetic oil....
