Thumbs up

There are so many dealers in the Bay Area, I'm just wondering if anyone got a particularly good deal from one of the dealerships--or if there are any dealerships to avoid. Thanks.

Fremont BMW is good.

Based on my personal experience, try to avoid Stevens Creek BMW and BMW of mountain View..

Agree with soc_fans. Claridge's BMW business is slow so they're willing to negotiate. Others are at high cost area where rental cost per sqft is high, so they don't like to negotiate from invoice much. Only from MSRP downward.

My buying experience with Fremont BMW is good, although technologywise
those salespersons (and technicians too!) may not know E60 very well.
As far as the service, I think I like EastBay better.

In my experience, Sonnen (in Marin) is the most aggressive price wise in the bay area.

From my experience, East Bay all the way. They are the only dealer in Nor Cal with some service award. I have purchased two E60s from them at $1,000 over invoice AND all over email and fax. I didnt even have to go in and wait around to deal with someone there. Bought both cars from my own home. They were the only dealer to accept my 1k over invoice offer. They rock.

I've had good experiences in East Bay (E60 525) and Fremont (E46 M3) when it comes to sales.

Talk to Ulysses at East Bay or Bill Cureton at Fremont....they rock. They are both willing to work over the phone or over email.

I've been taking all my cars to East Bay for service without any real problems.

I don't know if it's indicative of their general pricing practices, but when I called them a while back regarding M5 availability and pricing, they said they weren't taking any names on a list, and wouldn't let anybody pre-order a car, they would spec order the cars, and when they came in they would put them on the showroom floor and sell them to the highest bidder. I hung up the phone.

I see from your sig you have an M5 coming soon--are you getting it from Weatherford, and if so, was it as MSRP?
