Something you may not know is that you can combine ED with a Performance Center Delivery now. ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)

Thanks for all the info. I live in the northern New Jersey area. Can anyone reccomend any ED friendly dealers in the area. The dealerships I have been to are Morristown BMW, Prestige BMW, Park Ave BMW and Paul Miller BMW in Wayne.
If you want, I can give you an intro to her (not that it's necessary).
She has done tons of European Deliveries and it's important to have someone who knows the process working with you (otherwise, things can go haywire).

For superb service, go to DiFeo in tenafly. The European Delivery expert there is Ricki Shamen.

Sounds great. I will make sure to stop by tomorrow or saturday. But who should I go to now, Mr. Lee or Ms. Shamen? Another dilemma in my never ending journey.
BTW, I got a quote today for a 550i, U.S. delivery,, $500 off invoice. He said he couldn't discount anymore. I think I can do much better than this?

$500 off MSRP is an insult.
My guess is that you should not have to pay much more than $1,500 over invoice if you shop around.

$500 off msrp for 2008 550i and I'm purchasing. I thought it was an insult as well. My goal is 1500 over invoice. Thanks for the words of encouragement.

When did this change? Last time I checked, they told me it was not possible, they said it had to be either one. It is also stated in their website:

Taking advantage of both would be awesome!!!

I agree, but my dealer told me recently that they're doing ED at MSRP. "You're already getting a substantial discount" he said. I nearly burst out laughing. I got my current car at ED invoice due to "Trade Assist" buyback of previous problematic MY04 530. But I'm sure I can shop around and get a new one for $1500 over ED invoice. Keep looking!

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. I juse need some clarifications as to how does ED work exactly. I am a young professional and want to get a 550i, but have always wanted to ED if I ever bought a BMW. I am not sure exactly how ED works. I understand I have to book my flight and hotel, but what about shipping the car and any other costs?
Any details on ED would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
