My Euro Delivery 550 sport arrives the port of entry in New York on August 30. When will it arrive at my dealership in suburban Chicago? Even though this is my third 5 er, I can hardly wait. I feel like Homer Simpson waiting for a donut.

Hummm you're not going to like this but give it another 2-3 weeks. Normal priority 1 cars if you live in the same state takes about a 5 days to get to the dealer from the day it arrives at the port... yours being lowest in priority will take a little longer.

Because its a ED car. its a sold car BMW puts that as Priority 3.

Priority 1 is Customer ordered cars
Priority 2 is Dealer ordered cars.
Priority 3 is ED cars.. they're sold already.

It might not be 3 weeks thats pushing it.. but it'll be roughly 2 ish.

But of course please tell us what you think... I want to know

Customs has been taking from 5-20 days to clear cars. After clearing customs, it should only stay at the VDC for a few days.

The thing I don?t recall is whether Chicago cars go thru the SC VDC. If Chicago cars normally come from the SC VDC, then your car will go from Port NEAT to South Carolina and then to Chicago.

But as POVs, our cars have a high priority in going thru the VDC.

see post above this but also please note that what you said about our cars having a low priority is completely unfounded. They have the same priority as Priority 1 cars (which have been sold).

Ok... if you say so... I've always understood ED to be lowerest in priority... if you believe otherwise fine. You "should" know more... according to your avatar...

And what is this " completly unfounded"
