My Ride: 2009 535i Titanium Silver Metallic, xDrive, premium pkg, cold weather pkg, sat radio, rear split/heated seats, euro reflectors
Default

Is it possible to order a different style of wheel and tire with my 530xi without upgrading to the sport package (it does nothing for me in the snowy northeast and I don't really want to own/store a second set)?

Also if I have a fold down seat why would I need a ski pass thru wouldn't it make more sense to have a ski pass thru with the cold weather pkg and not with the split folding seats?

Thanks

For new wheels, no. Unless they have changed since I ordered my car. If you want new wheels, you have to buy them on your own and have them installed upon delivery. Have the dealer do it for you before you pick up the car. Being brand new, you should be able to sell the wheels you don't want for a pretty good price. Of course if the wheels are a different size then you will also need new tires.

No, unfortunately not (not from the factory anyway). The only styles available for any E60 at order time are the ones you can see when you configure the car online (or at your dealer). If you want the Style 123 wheels, you MUST get the Sport Package (which, as you can tell, doesn't really do much for the xi models).

Perhaps, but BMW doesn't see the cold weather package as necessarily being connected to skiing, and the way BMW does a ski "pass thru" is with split folding rear seats.
