Thanks.

I am in central PA. I am going with the 17" because I was told that it would be better for driving in the snow.

Congrats with your new car.. I chose 17 inch wheels with wintertires for safey. Plus the 17 inch wheels and tires are less expensive so that helped me making the decision.

I decided to bite the bullet and let my 545i hibernate for the winter. My brother's selling his '99 Honda Accord (5-on-the-floor!) 4-banger to buy a new car, so I decided I'd be the buyer. Probably not the safest of options, but it's FWD and with a set of Blizzaks on there, the car's not bad in the snow.

i would defiantely invest in a pair of winter wheels as you do not want your nice summer wheels to get damaged during the winter month. so getting a smaller wheel help keep down tire costs as well. Personally, it is best to run a narrorer tire during winter to cut through the snow. maybe try running 205 instead of 225. as far as tires go the blizzak lm's are a sure bet. might want to try the new lm-25 which is supposidly the replacement to teh 22's

Not sure his writing style matches his speaking style though. Something tells me the TV Raj isn't going to be changing over his tires by himself in his garage...

I think the TV Raj is a pretty good guy. He's clearly quite intelligent but not so much as to make him less "street smart" if you know what I mean. Too bad he's one mistake away from getting fired!
