As far as I know you need the comfort access for the start/stop button.

Something just does not sound right. This guy looks like his car was built on Sept. 5th (5 days before mine) and his has it.

Maybe mr_djurgarden does NOT because he has a Europe spec car??
I don't even know what build week number I have anymore. I thought I had week 36 also, but my car was built on Sept. 7th. So maybe that's week 37 or 38?
I just talked to my dealer and it looks like production week 38 is when the actual start/stop button went into production. So looks like mine wont have it....suxs!
But oh well, that really doenst make it a BMer...athough the marketing for BMWNA should be changed!!!

I think you are OK. Mine was shipped on 9/13 (due to arrive in port on 10/9) and it has the comfort access option.

Guys... Comfort Access is not relevant to my situation. Again, comfort access gives you a start/stop button AND no need to insert a key (if the key is "on you" somewhere).
If you don't have Comfort Access, all E60s currently being built STILL have a Start/Stop button. I'm just concerned that this button was not added to the production line until last week. So cars built earlier this month may not have it. Again, no Comfort Access does not mean you will not have the button.
I know the button is not all that useful, I just think it's a part of the "cool factor".
