New 2005 545i

Greetings all! I've been lurking for several weeks and decided to officially register and make my first post on this forum after receiving word from my dealership here in San Diego, CA that my 545 arrived this evening from the VPC. It will be ready for pick-up tomorrow afternoon.
I will be turning in my leased 2003 745i. I originally had a 2002 745i which was replaced with a 2003 model by BMWNA because of problems I was experiencing (mostly software related). I placed a deposit about a year ago for a M5, when the timing for delivery seemed like it would coincide with the end of my lease. But, as we all know, the M5 will not show up in the U.S. until probably November, and I'm not at the top of the list, so I decided to get the 545i for the next couple of years, then move over to the M5.
Before the 745, I drove a 1998 540i, before that a 525i and my first BMW was a 1989 325i convertible.
The 545 is silver-gray with black interior, sport package, comfort seats, nav w/ HUD, sirrius and the rear window shade. Tomorrow morning the dealership will install chromed wheels, detail and fill it with gas. Then I'll be good to go.
Thanks to this board I ordered and already received the Euro reflector strips. I also purchased a Motorola V710 last week and had the new software installed, in preparation for the arrival of the 545.
I am excited and will post pictures tomorrow. It sounds like this car will be a lot of fun, and I look forward to CIP 16.1, when I'm told by my local shop foreman, there may be a fix for the "radio on when you start the car" issue and re-enabling of RDS.
