Im looking into purchasing an e60 530 or 545, the 4 musts in this car are
1. xenon
2. bluetooth
3. I-drive
4. CA

now it looks to me like the first 3 come standard in the models im looking at, but i cant find CA in any of the ones I look at online. Im looking for an 05-06 for about 20k. I found an 05 545i with 43k miles loaded for 21.5k. When did CA start coming into the 5'er?

also any guys with a carfax account would be so amazing and run this VIN for me please WBANB33555CN64738

also how much hp difference in the V8 545, and I6 530?

Why would Comfort Access be a requirement?? To me it's one option that is virtually unnecessary although I do sell it.

CA came out in 2006 MY according to the manuals posted on this site. I don't think 545 ever had it. One more thing - there were 2006 models in the US that still have a traditional looking key. I have an early (US) MY 2006 530xi with production date of June 2005. That's just a few months after xi and has the N52 engine. I have a key and not the rectangular fob and start/stop button. My wife has a 2009 X5 with the start/stop button, but without CA. Personally I don't understand BMW's version of CA. Why do I have to have the fob inserted at all before I push the button? The whole thing should work off proximity.

CA would never be a deal breaker for me. Now, ZCW is another thing
