Can someone please tell me what this code really means and what work should be performed to address it properly?

I was told the code is

5210 - transfer case module

The only thing that comes to mind as to addressing this is to actually inspect the transfer case for any visible leaks, no idea what to do beyond that.

I have posted a detailed thread with description of what led up to me finding out about this fault code, describing the issue in detail - click here to read.

(couldn't add this to the original post - sorry)

I think the reason this fault came up is because I'm running 3 Bridgestone RFTs and 1 Continental conventional tire. The Conti is in the rear, and I'm assuming it's overall rolling diameter is very slightly different from those of the other 3 tires. So that - as my research is showing so far - can result in a transfer case fault. Can someone please point me to where I can educate myself on remedies for this problem?
