SMG and 6MT are available for the E60 including the 550i from SeptemberThe 550i gets hit with Gas Guzzler Tax of $1,000 which brings the base to $59,095 while the 530i now starts at $47,495
That leaves $12k in between, enough room for the 540i? BMW NA
whats the story???

Ouch! $1K for 6 speed or SMG... :'( maybe the weakling 545 isnt so bad after all.

me too, i was getting real worried that I wouldnt be able to get SMG...btw, all of the options are priced exactly the same as the March 1 update, so the wholesale numbers should not be changing, ...still waiting to get the actual spec sheet though..

You get your BMW's for nothing.
It will be an heck of on upgrade for you from the E46 to the E60 weather you will choose the 530i or the 550i.
The R6 N52 engine runs so smooth but of course a V8 is always a V8.

The facelift will not come before the MY 2007 (Sept. 2007) in Europe witch means your US MY 2008.
