Spoke to my dealer today. The ship (Vintoris Leader?) arrived yesterday into Port Hueneme and my work order was printed this morning and taken to the process center this am as well. It is getting the M Aero Kit installed and is supposed to be released to my dealer on November 16th. The M5 wheels are in a Los Angeles shop awaiting shipment to BMW of PS... Hope all stays running smoothly..

I am not sure what week build it was..Can I get some help? Production started 9/23/05, production # is 6898253; does that put it at week 35 build?? I hope I didn't get dicked on the Mp3 status...Shit!!!

Anyone else have updates on their status???

you are so lucky. I think you are week 39 prod start... But I am thinking that they placed your elextronics the following week in a later step.. I hope you can play MP3s....
Have you checked one of the discussions posted last week on the MP3? I think someone was able to play MP3s on your same week build.
Would love to hear from someone who also has a week 39 build

as far as me, my car is on the pegasus diamond, who as of yesterday the ship cleared the panama canal and due in san diego on 11-15.. And I think in hueneme 2 days later... So maybe before thxsgiving if I am lucky.

Let me know how long it takes for you to leave the dock and onto the VPC..

My 550i is on board your ship, too... the Centaurus Leader. My dealer said it should be up in Northern CA (Concord BMW) by the 15th once it (like many have done) gets its M-Aero kit installed!

Thats great news about your delivery SoCalRaven!!!! Did you order Satalite Radio? If so, I wouldn't worry too much about being able to play MP3's cause you'll have plenty of entertainment choices...You can also easily burn regular CDs too...right?

HHP - I see you put delivery date at 11/23. Hope that is the case! My boss is sending me to Beijing and thats the day I return. Now maybe to pick up my car too!!!!

helola, I am hoping it is 11-23.. which is my dealers best guess at this point.. Lets hope for good weather on the trip from panama to here......
and hope you too can get it b4 u head to china...
