My Ride: 2006 525i, Alpine White/Beige Dakota Leather, Steptronic Automatic, Premium Package, Active Steering, Xenon Adaptive Headlights with Dynamic Auto-Leveling
Production On 05/2005
Purchased On 07/2005
My father recently purchased a 2006 525i for me. It's Alpine White with Beige Interior, Automatic, Premium Package, Adaptive Headlights, with Xenon Lights.
It's just like the one in the first three pictures below but without the tint.
I want to do something with this car. I was thinking about putting a 35% tint on the two front and the rear windows. I also wanted to buy interior xenon lights (16 light bubls for E60) and get a pair of these xenoflo hid bulbs (6000k instead of 4000k which is the factory color) shown in the picture below.
What do you guys think? I am open to any suggestions and opinions. Thank you.

Congrats on the car. Out of curiosity, why do you want to "upgrade" the xenons from the stock (which are 4,200K) to 6,000K?

And I don't have a particular reason as to why I want to get the 6000k xenons. I like the color I guess and I live in Seattle. It's raining here all the time and the city doesn't get much sun through out the year.

[/quote]The higher the kelvin rating, the less bright the light source. So going from 4,200K to 6,000K will actually decrease the brightness of your headlights.

Those interior lights aren't "xenon". A xenon lamp requires a high voltage ballast and illuminates xenon gas within the bulb.
Those are just normal incandescent lights designed to give off a bluish/whitish rather than yellowish light, just like the fake "xenons" some people get for headlights.
