My Ride: 545i 6-speed Orient Blue/Auburn
Does anyone know what the current money factor is for a lease. My sales rep tells me it's .00165?
Is this set by BMW FS or is it negotiable, also could it vary from state to state.
Thanks

state to state-it doesn't
The only thing (other than your dealers greed) that will influence the MF is whether or not you go with a security deposit...without a deposit I believe the mark-up is .00015 to the base MF

I just heard that the MF for a 645 or an M3 for example is 0.00205 instead of the 0.00125 that's offered for all other models. Has anyone else heard of that? Is it true?
The explanation is that the M series cars, the 645, the 4.8is X5, the 760iL are more of the "rare" models of the entire BMW suite and thus they command a diffrent MF according to BMW FS.
True? False?

Yes, the BMWFS money factor base rate varies by model and lease term. You can find the numbers for all BMW models published over on the "Finance and Leasing Forum" on the, dare I say it, Roadfly board.

I PMed you with the URL.
Any specific "search string" for this area or is it just buried somewhere in there?
