Just leased an 07 a few days ago at 36 months at $698 including taxes with an MSRP of $58K and $3300 down. Seems like the monry factor change for Nov. on the 5 really was a good deal. I'm in Cali was it a good buy? Din't know about the facelift until reading posts now, and believed the dealer story about how they did it to have more CPO cars in a few years. I'm sure it's due to refresh. Love the car and comport access, had an 04 before.

That seems a tad high given the new rates. How many miles are you doing? If 15k per year, then it is probably more reasonable. I assume you didn't put down multiple security deposits. When you say you put $3300 down, is that doc fees, TTL, or is that money you put down to lower the CAP cost?

I have negotiated a lease on a 530i with MSRP of $59690. The payment before tax is $558. This is with no money down except for paying 6 Security Deposits (plus TTL) to get the final MF down to .00008. Lease acquisition fee and doc fee is added to the CAP cost. My lease is 36 months, 10k miles per year.

You are right on the lease rates. They have never been this good on the E60.

Surely there must be a better way of expressing 'interest' rates in the USA than a figure to five decimal places?

cheers
