I'm leasing an 05' 530i and paid for 15k miles a year and i'm turning it in next month. I've only put 26,xxx miles on it, do I get any $ back? Some folks have said I should and a few have said I should have used them up. Can anybody set this straight for me. Even my local dealership couldn't give me a straight answer...I guess thats why I drove 2hrs to get the car elsewere. Thanks

I am not sure if they will give your money back on the unused portion of your mileage. However, when I turned in my lease car which had 5k under the contracted mileage usage, BMW did give me some credit. Namely, they initially charged $100 for the minor bumper scrape but since my car was under mileage , they waived this charge. YMMV

They will not give you money back on unused miles from your original lease contract. If you subsequently bought additional miles, intra-lease, they will credit those unused miles back.
