I have never leased a vehicle before but have decided to investigate that possibility as I am searching for my E60. Since I am clueless on the leasing process, I am trying to learn whatever I can and to that extent, I ran across the following software (basically, US only) and was hoping maybe some of you may have seen/used it before.

Again, being new to leasing, especially since I never considered it a viable option, I don't want to get trapped in a bad lease and this seems to give the information you need to negotiate properly. (It could probably be used for buying as well, given some of the information but I am looking at it as a lease info resource.)

http://www.leasewizard.com/

Is the information that this provides readily available elsewhere? I know that Edmunds gives MSRP vs. Invoice info but I don't know how up-to-date that is.

Thanks for your feedback!

Jeff

Hi Jeff-

The problem with software is the information is not based on real numbers. There is no way to guarantee what lease programs a dealer will/can offer you.

A service like http://www.LeaseCompare.com will give you real lease payment information to compare what the dealer is offering so you can make the best decision.

You will also want to read this publication to help determine if leasing is a good option for you:

Thank you for the information, I will read through it when I can. No point in rushing into something without having as good of an understanding as possible! Only way to negotiate a better deal. Thanks!

Try this website. It is easy to use if you know the MSRP, the actual cost you expect to pay (Cap Cost), the residual % after your particular lease term (i.e. 36 months) and the money factor.

I have found Edmunds' pricing re: invoice, options, etc. to be right on the money. If you know the figures above, you can figure out exactly what your payment will be!

Good luck!
